Young and talented Ghanaian striker, Peter Baah Junior, is once again making headlines, and this time it’s for his recent move to Montverde Academy in the United States of America.

Known for his exceptional skills on the field, Peter is now poised to elevate his game by training with some of the finest facilities available in the U.S.

Peter first caught the public’s attention during the 2023 Baby-Jet Under-16 tournament in Cape Coast, where he showcased his remarkable talent. His performance was nothing short of mesmerizing, as he thrilled the crowd with his skills, resulting in a goal and two assists in four matches.

His breakout performance solidified his reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising young footballers as of that year.

In addition to the Baby-Jet tournament, Peter has participated in several other high-profile competitions, including the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools Games at Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Representing Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (KASS), Peter played a pivotal role in securing the championship, scoring the decisive goal in the final match.

His impressive form on the pitch quickly caught the attention of national team coaches, earning him a well-deserved call-up to the national U-15 camp.

During his time at the national U-15 camp, Peter continued to stand out, not just for his technical skills, but also for his exceptional determination, work ethic, as well as his maturity when it comes to football.

The coaches were particularly impressed by his ability to adapt, his sharp footballing intelligence, as well as his leadership skills on the field, making him a standout among his peers.

As Peter embarks on this exciting new chapter at Montverde Academy, he carries the weight of national expectations, with many in Ghana eagerly anticipating how far his remarkable talent will take him on the global stage.

Meanwhile, Peter Baah Snr, his senior brother is one of the promising young goalkeepers currently in Ghana. He’s schooling at Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (KASS). He was named Best Goalkeeper in the Ashanti Region Inter-Schools championship in January this year.
