Peacemaker stabbed to demise whereas attempting to settle quarrel in Kogi

A vulcanizer, recognized as Sunday Orishagbemi, has been stabbed to demise whereas attempting to settle a quarrel between two males in Zango Daji Quarters within the Adavi Native Authorities Space of Kogi State.

The 39-year-old man was killed on Friday, April 21, in Okada Park at Zango Daji.

In line with studies, the incident occurred when a buddy of the deceased went to urinate close to a constructing owned by one of many residents within the quarters. The proprietor of the constructing reportedly resisted the motion, resulting in a quarrel between them.

Sunday Orishagbemi, involved in regards to the improvement, tried to settle the quarrel between his buddy and the person. Sadly, the son of the constructing proprietor introduced out a knife and stabbed Orishagbemi to demise.

The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the incident, with the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Ovye Ayah, stating that the suspect had been arrested for investigation.

Chatting with journalists in Lokoja, the PPRO assured the general public that the suspect could be arraigned in courtroom for prosecution as quickly because the investigation is concluded.

The killing of Sunday Orishagbemi has thrown the Zango Daji Quarters into mourning, as residents specific their condolences to the deceased’s household.
