PDP’s Oborevwori beats Omo-Agege, wins Delta governorship election


Sheriff Oborevwori, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) defeated Ovie Omo-Agege, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within the March 18, governorship election in Delta State.

Oborevwori scored 360,234 votes to defeat the Omo-Agege who scored 240,229, whereas the Labour Celebration candidate, Kennedy Pela got here a distant third with 48,047.

Oborevwori swept 21 out of the 25 Native Authorities Areas of the state leaving the APC with 4 native authorities areas.
