PDP’s Caleb Mutfwang wins Plateau governorship election

The Peoples Democratic Get together (PDP) candidate, Caleb Mutfwang, has been declared the winner of the Plateau State governorship election. 

The Returning Officer of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) within the state, Prof Idris Amali declared Mutfwang because the winner having scored 525,299 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nantawe Yilwatda of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 481,370 votes whereas Patrick Dakum of the Labour Get together (LP) got here a distant third with 60,310 votes.

The PDP candidate secured 43,929 votes greater than the APC candidate who was annointed by the incumbent, Simon Lalong.
