Rui Patricio has signed a short-term contract with Al-Ain to play within the Membership World Cup.
The 38-year-old joins the UAE Professional League aspect from Atalanta, the place he spent only one season after three years with Roma.
Al-Ain gained the AFC Champions League in 2024, and reached the ultimate of the Membership World Cup seven years in the past.
“Al-Ain has signed Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio to take part with the group within the 2025 Membership World Cup,” the membership stated on X.

“Patricio will arrive within the United Arab Emirates tomorrow night to endure medical checks and be a part of first-team coaching.”
Vladimir Ivic’s aspect have been drawn alongside Manchester Metropolis, Juventus and Moroccan outfit Wydad in Group G.
Patricio will definitely deliver loads of expertise to their ranks, having performed 108 instances for Portugal and helped his nation win the European Championship in 2016.
