Panic as gunmen kidnap Abuja newspapers distributors’ president, demand N15m

FCT, Abuja – The President, of Abuja Newspapers Distributors Affiliation, John Emmanuel, has been kidnapped.

The Punch reported that Mr. Emmanuel was kidnapped by bandits on his approach again dwelling, in a ‘one-chance’ automobile within the Giri space of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Tuesday evening, December 12.

TheTalk.NG understands that the abductors have demanded N15 million as ransom from his household, to finalise his launch.

The sufferer’s spouse, Mrs Uche Emmanuel, on Wednesday, December 13, in an interview, confirmed her husband’s abduction whereas additionally noting that his abductors have reached out to the household demanding ransom for his freedom.

She mentioned:

“Sure, my husband was kidnapped in Giri yesterday at about 8pm. He was in a public taxi on his approach again dwelling, sadly, the automobile was a one-chance automobile, and so they’re demanding N15 million earlier than they’ll launch him.”
