Pan African Towers appoints Oladipo Badru as performing CEO

Pan African Towers, a Nigerian telecommunications infrastructure supplier serving 9mobile and Spectranet, has appointed Oladipo Badru because the performing chief govt officer. He resumed in November 2024. 

Badru, who was beforehand the corporate’s Chief Monetary Officer, succeeds Azeez Amida, who resigned after two and a half years as managing director and CEO to pursue different alternatives,  the corporate stated in a press release.

Adefolarin Ogunsanya, chairman of Pan African Towers, acknowledged Amida’s contributions to the corporate’s progress, stating, ‘We want him properly in his future endeavors. Badru will work intently with the chief administration crew to make sure continuity, and we’re assured in his management and dedication to our mission.’

With a brand new management in place, Pan African Towers goals to strengthen its place within the aggressive telecom tower infrastructure market, which is presently dominated by IHS Towers, American Tower Company (ATC), and Helios Towers.

PAT presently owns 764 energetic towers throughout Nigeria, serving greater than 1,200 tenants, together with cell community operators (MNOs) and web service suppliers (ISPs) like 9mobile, ntel, Bitflux, Spectranet, and Smile Communications.

On November 27, PAT secured undisclosed funding from Growth Companions Worldwide (DPI) and Verod Capital to speed up its progress. The fund will assist the corporate handle Nigeria’s infrastructure hole, with plans to triple its tower footprint within the coming years. The corporate will even discover acquisitions and partnerships.
