Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika has mentioned he spent the sum of 12 billion Naira to amass 10 firefighting vehicles in Nigeria Airports.
Sirika disclosed on Sunday, April 2, that he commissioned ten firefighting vehicles for the Federal Airports Authority, FAAN.
In his submit shared on Twitter, Sirika revealed that FAAN had not purchased firefighting vehicles in 15 years.
He tweeted: “Simply commissioned 10 Firefighting vehicles, complete price of over 12Bn Naira. Extra to come back sooner or later. Security has been the Buhari focus in Aviation, since 2015. Hitherto FAAN has not purchased new vehicles in 15 years.”
