The Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has expressed concern over some employers’ rejection of corps members within the North-East area.
The NYSC Director in control of the zone, Mr Garinvwa Ishaya, acknowledged this at a one-day Corps Employers’ Discussion board, on Monday in Yola.
The theme of the workshop is: “Deepening Corps Employers Participation in the direction of Improved Welfare And Safety of Corps Members”.
He mentioned the pattern was discouraging to the corps members and the scheme, including that they need to be accorded enabling environments of their locations of major task to contribute to the social and financial improvement of the nation.
