Eighty-nine nurses who graduated from the Division of Nursing Science of Edo State College, Uzairue, Edo have been inducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
The Vice Chancellor of the Establishment, Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor throughout the induction ceremony stated the establishment had groomed and geared up the inductees to successfully take up challenges within the nursing occupation.
He congratulated the graduates and wished them a profitable profession forward.
He stated, “Your exhausting work, dedication, and dedication have introduced you so far and we have fun the achievements of the college’s nursing division over time.
“Our nursing division has persistently demonstrated excellence in training, analysis, and observe, and it has turn out to be a beacon of high quality within the healthcare occupation,” he stated.
The VC disclosed that the division had obtained approval from the Nationwide Universities Fee to begin a postgraduate programme in nursing science on the establishment.
He urged the inductees to proceed the pursuit of excellence of their occupation.
The Secretary-Normal/Registrar of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Dr. Faruk Abubakar stated the brand new graduates have been now licensed nurses and have been certified to work in any well being services within the nation.
He urged them to stick to the foundations of the occupation in Nigeria.
Earlier, in his welcome tackle, the Ag. Dean, College of Utilized Well being Sciences, Dr. Omosigho Pius stated the inductees have been the third set of nurses produced by the college.
