The Nigeria Security Investigation Bureau has been notified about an incident involving a Bombardier CRJ-900LR plane with Nationality and Registration Marks 5N-BXR belonging to Valuejet Airways.
This was contained in a press release signed by Dr James Odaudu, NSIB Director of Public Affairs and Shopper Safety on Wednesday in Abuja.
In keeping with him, the incident occurred round 3:32 pm (Native Time) on Nov. 14. (Tuesday).
“The Bureau has commenced the method of unravelling the fast and distant causes of the incident, with our Investigators already on the scene.
“The plane, with 62 passengers and 5 crew upon touchdown on the Port Harcourt Worldwide Airport from Lagos overshot the runway at runway 03.
‘There was no harm or fatality, as all of the passengers and crew members have been safely evacuated and no injury to the plane was reported,” the director stated.
He stated the bureau appealed to the general public and the media to keep away from speculations concerning the possible causes and to respect the privateness of these on board.
