Information

Ghanaian authorized practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, has revealed that the New Patriotic Celebration (NPP) was afraid of going through John Dramani Mahama within the 2024 elections.

Ampaw, talking on his Wontumi TV present, revealed that previous to the NDC primaries in 2023, the NPP tried to sabotage his try to be elected the flagbearer of the NDC for the third consecutive time period.

The NPP calculated that as a former President, Mahama could be a formidable candidate and due to this fact tried to make sure he wouldn’t win the NDC flagbearership race.

Ampaw stated the NPP commenced a public relations technique to downplay Mahama’s strengths as a candidate and hype up his opponents, notably the previous Financial institution of Ghana Governor and Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffuor.

Finally, Mahama gained the NDC flagbearer race at a cakewalk, receiving nearly 99% of the vote within the Might 2023 poll with no significant opposition.

Because the NPP feared, Mahama went forward to win the 2024 elections, routing the previous Vice President and NPP Presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
