Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’advert Abubakar
The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Abubakar III, has suggested Northerners to problem bandits and insurgents to beat the menacing safety problem within the North.
Talking on the North-West Peace and Safety Summit in Katsina State on Monday, Abubakar stated the results of banditry and insurgency on Northern residents are devastating.
The President Common of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs added that it will take many years for the North-West area to come back out of the safety problem.
He stated, “What we should do is to problem these bandits as a result of everyone knows the results of banditry and insurgency on our lives. However it would take many years to get out of it if all we get out of it. Everyone knows the results and the issues.”
The monarch said that the normal rulers are able to accomplice with safety businesses and the North West governors to avoid wasting the area from banditry and insurgency.
He expressed his perception that proposals to carry banditry and insurgency to the barest minimal for individuals to go about their lives and companies could be arrived at on the finish of the summit.
