SEOUL, March 22 (UPI) — North Korea launched a number of cruise missiles into the ocean between Korea and Japan on Wednesday, Seoul protection officers stated.
The South Korean army detected a number of missiles fired from the Hamhung space on the North’s east coast at round 10:15 a.m, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Workers stated in a textual content message to reporters.
“Detailed specs are being carefully analyzed by South Korea and U.S. intelligence authorities,” the message stated. No additional data was given.
South Korea and america are scheduled to wrap up their 11-day Freedom Shield joint army train on Thursday, which Pyongyang has angrily denounced as preparation for an invasion.
North Korea has carried out a number of missile launches through the train, together with a Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile check final week.
Over the weekend, the secretive regime held a drill to prepare for a nuclear counterattack, based on state-run media.
