NNPP gov candidate receives PDP supporters in Gombe

The New Nigeria Peoples Celebration governorship candidate in Gombe State, Khamisu Mailantarki, has obtained officers and members of Sardauna Dawo-Dawo, a political help group of the Peoples Democratic Celebration.

He obtained the defectors who left the PDP, for the NNPP in Gombe on Friday.

They had been formally welcomed into the NNPP by the state chairman, Abdullahi Maikano.

The group, Sardauna Dawo-Dawo, modified its title to Mailantarki Motion after the defection saying, it determined to again the NNPP candidate, who “is younger, various, competent, energetic, kind-hearted,”

Chairman of the group, Muhammad Makson added that Mailantarki is examined and trusted, and has the character to deal decisively with present points and challenges dealing with the state.

Makson mentioned, ”Our pulling out of our help for the PDP was a collective choice, all of us determined to stop and be a part of the NNPP in order that we are able to have higher management in Gombe State.

“We imagine Mailantarki has the nice character and capability to rescue Gombe State from the misrule of the APC. He has all the time been saying the fitting issues and has finished the fitting issues prior to now.”

He disclosed that the group has about 2000 exco members and over 20,000 volunteers unfold throughout the 114 wards of Gombe State.

Receiving the defectors into the NNPP, Mailantarki assured them that they’d be carried alongside in all of the actions of the social gathering, “particularly now that the campaigns had commenced, and God’s keen, the NNPP will win the subsequent common election.”

He urged them to garner extra help and promote the social gathering and its candidates within the state, including that “it’s only by means of grassroots mobilisation the NNPP can uproot and defeat the failed ruling All Progressives Congress within the state.”

Mailantarki assured social gathering members, stressing, “we are going to run an all-inclusive authorities in Gombe State if he’s elected as governor,” he added.
