Afrigather The management of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and the Commerce Union Congress, TUC have summoned a unprecedented Nationwide Government Council assembly.
The Nationwide Vice-President of the TUC, Tommy Etim, made this recognized in an interview on Tuesday afternoon.

The organised labour, comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Commerce Union Congress, on Friday, issued a five-day ultimatum over the sooner arrest of the Nationwide President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, by the police in Owerri, Imo State, on Wednesday.
The labour centres demanded the redeployment of the commissioner of police within the state and the arrest and prosecution of the aide of the federal government who was alleged to have perpetrated the assault.
The unions additionally threatened to embark on a nationwide industrial motion if their calls for weren’t met in 5 days from Friday.
Ajaero was arrested by the police forward of the state-wide protest in Imo on Wednesday. This was disclosed by the NLC’s Head of Data, Benson Upah.
