At his hometown of Daura in Katsina State, northwest Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari voted.

In response to NEWS DIRECT, the president and his spouse Aisha arrived on the Sarkin Yara voting location in Daura at round 9:55 a.m. on Saturday.

The president answered press inquiries after casting his vote.

President Buhari acknowledged that he’s delegating the duty of addressing considerations about potential violence in the course of the common elections to the safety providers.
