Afrigather Gunmen, on Tuesday, attacked the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku Ozalla in Enugu State, Nigeria’s South-east.
UNTH is the instructing hospital of the College of Nigeria.
PREMIUM TIMES gathered that the attackers, suspected to be kidnappers, kidnapped a feminine director and a safety officer within the facility.
Some workers members of the hospital advised this newspaper that the director was trailed to the premises of the hospital round 9 a.m. on Tuesday by the gunmen, who shot at her SUV automobile.
One of many workers members, who requested to not be named as a result of she was not authorised to talk on the incident, recognized the kidnapped director as Ngozi Mbah, additionally a nurse.
She lamented that there isn’t a presence of safety operatives across the facility regardless of being a recognised establishment.

Not the primary
This isn’t the primary time UNTH could be attacked by gunmen.
Gunmen had, in November 2023, kidnapped a resident physician hooked up to the hospital.
The resident physician, Orockarrah Orock, would later escape from captivity after just a few hours.
