Aston Villa are interested in signing Will Osula from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, but the Magpies will not sell the striker, according to Football Insider.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “It’s going to be very difficult for Aston Villa or anybody else to get him out now.
“You’d probably say Osula is the first choice striker for Eddie Howe now. As of right now, I don’t think Newcastle will even be considering letting Osula go.
“He’s still only 22, under contract until 2029 as well. Newcastle are very happy with Osula’s progress.
“I think you’ve got to take your hat off to Osula and say he’s worked hard and now getting the rewards, and I’m sure Newcastle right now have no plans to lose him.”
Newcastle are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment, while Villa currently find themselves fourth with 62 points from 37 games.
