MSI has finally released its Intel Arrow Lake and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series gaming tower. Offered with up to a GeForce RTX 5070 GPU and 32 GB of RAM, the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd should be powerful than popular gaming mini-PCs like the Asus ROG NUC 2025.

MSI has finally started selling its latest gaming desktop having showcased the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd in April. Compared with the popular Asus ROG NUC 2025 gaming-focused mini-PC, the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd combines desktop varieties of Intel’s recent Arrow Lake processors and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards.

Specifically, MSI currently offers the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd with a Core Ultra 5 225 or a Core Ultra 7 265F (curr. $293 on Amazon). As their names suggest, the Core Ultra 7 265F is the more powerful of the two processors, thanks to its 20 CPU cores split between 8 Performance cores and 12 Efficient cores. Both built around TSMC N3B nodes, the two processors sit within a 397 x 137 x 410 mm housing equivalent to a 10.36-litre case size.

Moreover, the desktop boasts a 500 W 80 Plus Bronze certified power supply (PSU) to power either a GeForce RTX 5060 or GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. On top of that, the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd contains air cooling, four storage options split evenly between 2.5-inch and M.2 2280 slots and almost a dozen ports as the image below shows. Currently, MSI offers the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd in four SKUs across Australia, Taiwan and the Eurozone. Unfortunately, pricing and availability for other markets remain unknown for now.

  • Intel Core Ultra 5 225/Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060/16 GB RAM/1 TB SSD – AUD 2,999 (~$1,960)
  • Intel Core Ultra 7 265F/Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060/16 GB RAM/1 TB SSD – AUD 3,499 (~$2,287)
