Moses Simon’s spectacular strike towards Stade Rennais could have saved FC Nantes supervisor Antoine Kombouaré’s job, because the Nigerian winger secured an important 1-0 victory in Ligue 1, Soccernet.ng experiences.

Since being reappointed in March 2024, Kombouaré has struggled to copy his success throughout his first spell, which included a Coupe de France triumph in 2022.

The supervisor will hope this victory alerts a turning level, as Nantes put together for a vital away conflict towards Brest this weekend.
