Social media users have taken to their official X account on February 5, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa after President Donald Trump called Remi Tinubu a respected woman.

According to NEWS CENTRAL TV, the moment was captured during the 74th National Prayer Breakfast held at the Washington Hilton in Washington DC.

In the video that surfaced online, Donald Trump also called the First Lady of Nigeria a pastor.

Donald Trump said that;

“We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria. A very respected woman”.

Reacting, Abike Dabiri-Erewa stated that Remi Tinubu is highly respected.

According to Abike Dabiri-Erewa on her official X account;

“Senator Remi Tinubu⁩. Highly respected! Focused! Mother of the Nation”.
