McDan Aviation has refuted claims by the Ghana Airports Firm Restricted (GACL) that it owes $3 million in accrued prices, resulting in the closure of Terminal 1 at Kotoka Worldwide Airport (KIA) on December 30, 2024.
In a press release issued on Monday, McDan Aviation’s CEO, Kwaku Ampronfi, clarified that the reported $3 million debt is inaccurate. He emphasised that the corporate has made vital funds and is actively working with the GACL to deal with the difficulty. “We don’t owe $3 million as has been erroneously reported,” the assertion learn. “We made a cost final week and can resume additional funds in January 2025.”
