PORT SAINT LUCIE, FL, June 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Susan Barrett Finazzo has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Finazzo has established herself as a dedicated perinatal specialist and the driving force behind My Baby Lady Inc., a company she founded in 2018. As the president of the organization, she has played a pivotal role in its growth and success. Her commitment to providing personalized care is evident in her approach to childbirth education and doula services. She offers free consultations and conducts comprehensive childbirth education classes, which she is transitioning to a virtual format to reach a broader audience. This innovative approach allows Ms. Finazzo to support up to 10 clients simultaneously, both domestically and internationally.

Beginning her journey into the field of childbirth education in 2009, Ms. Finazzo initially worked as a certified labor and birth doula. Her passion for supporting expecting parents was further fueled by her experience as a childbirth educator at the Osceola Pregnancy Center from 2009 to 2018. During this time, Ms. Finazzo honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of the needs of parents-to-be, which she now applies in her current role.

Ms. Finazzo’s educational background included coursework as a phlebotomy technician at Indian River State College from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, she received credentials as a certified baby planner through Baby Planner University and as a certified faith-based counselor through the International Institute of Faith-Based Counseling. These credentials have equipped Ms. Finazzo with the knowledge and expertise necessary to provide comprehensive support to her clients.

Ms. Finazzo’s dedication extends beyond her professional endeavors. She actively engages with the community through collaborations with nonprofit organizations in Saint Lucie County, where she raises awareness about her services and supports local initiatives. Her efforts include acting as a liaison for local thrift stores, redistributing items related to babies and children to families in need, and serving at community events such as breakfasts, grocery giveaways and community baby showers. Moreover, Ms. Finazzo is an active volunteer at The Hands and Feet and Better Together and she supports Planned Parenthood.

Throughout her career, Ms. Finazzo has remained steadfast in her belief that support for expecting parents is essential. Her dedication to listening to clients without preconceived notions sets her apart in the field, allowing her to tailor each birthing experience to meet individual needs effectively.

Ms. Finazzo’s vision for the future includes expanding My Baby Lady Inc. by training additional doulas to join her team, thereby transforming the company into a collaborative group capable of providing services nationwide and beyond.
