WILMINGTON, DE, June 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Mohit Vakil has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are chosen based on current reference value, considering factors such as professional position, significant achievements, visibility, and prominence within their field.

Mr. Vakil is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Insure Lab Inc. (InsureLab), the first AI-native Managing General Agent (an insurance intermediary), dedicated to addressing the inefficiency and inaccessibility of management liability insurance for small businesses and nonprofits. Founded alongside Romil Jain, whom he met as a fellow 17-year-old international student on their first day at the University of Toronto, InsureLab uniquely uses artificial intelligence to automate and enhance underwriting processes, turning weeks-long assessments into instantaneous quotes. The company is venture-backed, underscoring the significant market potential and confidence investors have in its innovative approach.

InsureLab solves a critical market issue: despite representing a $20 billion segment, many small businesses and nonprofits remain underinsured or uninsured due to slow and costly traditional underwriting practices. Leveraging proprietary AI technology, InsureLab quickly evaluates structured and unstructured data, identifies governance risks, and optimizes risk selection—transforming low-premium, high-friction accounts into attractive, scalable opportunities for carriers and brokers.

Prior to establishing InsureLab in 2024, Mr. Vakil specialized in actuarial pricing at Gore Mutual Insurance from 2021 to 2024 and previously served as a research assistant at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Toronto, where he achieved Dean’s List recognition.

Mr. Vakil’s professional affiliations include membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society, underscoring his commitment to industry excellence. His personal journey began in Bhuj, India, from where he moved to Mumbai as a child, eventually immigrating at the age of 17 to North America. This immigrant experience profoundly shaped his resilience, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit, providing him the confidence to establish and grow a successful, innovative business.

Outside of his professional career, Mr. Vakil previously volunteered with Crisis Text Line, demonstrating his dedication to community service and social impact. Personally, he enjoys running, reading, and playing squash. Looking forward, Mr. Vakil plans to expand InsureLab’s reach, ensuring rapid and affordable insurance protection for all. He also looks forward to building a fulfilling family life.
