Erling Haaland is to see a specialist to determine the extent of his ankle harm, Manchester Metropolis have confirmed.
The Norway striker scored Metropolis’s equaliser within the comeback 2-1 win over Bournemouth within the FA Cup quarter-finals on the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
Nevertheless, Haaland – who had earlier seen a penalty saved – was substituted within the 61st minute after injuring his left ankle.
Haaland, 24, was later seen leaving the bottom on crutches and sporting a protecting boot.
