Malawi president launches worldwide attraction for assist

The president of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwerahas launched a global attraction for assist in the aftermath of the devastation brought on by Cyclone Freddy.

 The storm killed no less than 225 folks. 

Talking within the capital, Blantyre, on Wednesday, President Chakwera appealed for assist. 

“Malawi is in a state of catastrophe. What cyclone Freddy has performed, is to drag us again even after we had been making an attempt to rebuild, due to previous tragedies. And I attraction to the worldwide group to please have a look at us with such favour. As a result of we want assist, we want assist by way of folks which have been rescued, who’ve misplaced all the things. Needing what is critical, shelter, clothes, meals”, stated the President of Malawi. 

It was the second time in lower than three weeks that the nation was battered by cyclone Freddy that additionally affected neighbouring Mozambique.
