Displaced youngsters in jap DRC celebrated Christmas at an internally displaced camp 8 km from Goma, the regional capital of North Kivu province.

Youngsters and households had been pressured to flee as a result of preventing between authorities forces and the M23 rebels.

“In our villages, our kids used to have fun Christmas correctly, however now I used to be starting to marvel how we had been going to do it as we had fled the conflict. By the grace of God, there are benefactors who considered us and got here with one thing to make us smile once more, so Christmas went properly and I thank God very a lot”, stated Josephine Riziki, a girl pressured to flee the conflict.

A native organisation welcomed the youngsters to the camp with a meal, presents and music.

 On Friday, the M23 rebels met with a regional army drive at hand over a strategic place close to Goma.
