RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is on the radars of a number of top European clubs this summer. The Bundesliga side would like to keep hold of his services for a while longer, according to Sky in Germany, and they’ve even devised a new contract offer for him to consider, but they’ve become resigned to letting him go if he insists – for the right price.
That price is set at €100million.
The 19-year-old has so far scored 11 goals and produced eight assists across 29 appearances in all club competitions this season, but it’s his pace and skill on the ball that has caught attention the most.
Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be watching the situation closely at this stage, but it’s Liverpool who lead the race, having held initial talks and maintaining necessary contacts.
Tottenham Hotspur were interested too, but it’s not very likely Diamonde would choose the relegation-battlers over any other club mentioned. Manchester United, whose interest has risen more recently as they work towards Champions League qualification, could be another story.
