The academic arm of the Lagos Waste Administration Authority, LAWMA Academy, has sensitised over 4,258 pupils of assorted public colleges throughout the state since its faculty enlightenment/advocacy programme started final month.
This was disclosed by LAWMA’s Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, following the visitation of the college advocacy group to colleges at Eti-Osa.
Represented by the director of LAWMA Academy, Coaching and Growth, Mrs. Bola Adewunmi, the LAWMA boss famous that the initiative aimed to impart waste administration schooling in kids for environmental sustainability.
He mentioned additional that the company had utilised interactive classes, instructional supplies, and fascinating actions to teach pupils on waste segregation, recycling, composting, and the significance of conserving their atmosphere clear.
He mentioned, “Equipping younger minds with the data and expertise to champion environmental sustainability is essential.
