Kash Patel Tagged After ‘Disgusting’ Tweet From WI Dem Gubernatorial Frontrunner on WHCD Shooting

Democrats are always going to do Democrat things. This weekend has certainly been no exception, as we’ve seen in the aftermath of the politically motivated shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner (WHCD) Saturday night, where authorities say the gunman tried to target President Trump and other members of the administration.

As RedState reported earlier, perhaps most infuriating were the ones who pretended their incendiary rhetoric about Trump over the last ten years has had nothing to do with inspiring violent attacks like the one the gunman tried to pull off the previous night. Exhibit A:

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin leans into his violent rhetoric against President Trump.

CNN: Democrats have used heated rhetoric against President Trump. Do you think twice about that?

RASKIN: What rhetoric?… I talk about the authoritarianism of President Trump. pic.twitter.com/1koJjTLWqG

Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-08), unfortunately, is far from the only Democrat who has continued with Business As Usual in the aftermath of the attack.

Francesca Hong, the current Democrat frontrunner in the race to succeed Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, took to the X machine on Sunday afternoon to write a thread in which she talked about how violence was not the answer and how we needed to be able to settle our political differences peacefully.

All that was fine until she got to a point a little later in the thread where Hong, who currently serves as a state representative in the State Assembly, claimed the Trump administration was inflicting “political violence” itself on communities with the use of federal immigration agents to crack down on criminal illegal immigrants.

“We see it in a healthcare system that lets people die because they can’t afford care,” Hong also proclaimed.

I also want to point out: The state enacts political violence on its citizens every day. We see it when ICE agents occupy our cities and put children in cages. We see it in a healthcare system that lets people die because they can’t afford care.

She followed up by writing that “We fix this by building a state and a country where people come before profit, where neighbors come before corporations, and where no child is hungry, caged, or afraid in the place they call home.”

It… sounded a lot like a justification for what happened Saturday (not to mention the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, allegedly by leftist icon/hero Luigi Mangione) in the minds of many who read it, including the Wisconsin-based Heartland Post:

In which the Democrat frontrunner for Governor, Francesca Hong, is attempting to justify assassination attempts against Trump by comparing it to ICE deportations while also parroting the exact same rhetoric leftists used to justify the execution of the United Healthcare CEO.

This kind of language only further inflames an already tense political climate—and it is exactly why we have seen multiple assassination attempts against Trump as well as the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk.

A 10 tweet thread where Hong tries to “both sides” the continuing trend of left-wing political violence by equating literal assassination attempts to ICE raids and unaffordable health care.

This is the exact rhetoric that radicalizes left-wing lunatics to act violently. https://t.co/WxVPF7LyyY

Others called it “disgusting,” with at least one X user tagging FBI Director Kash Patel in their response:

Democrats continue to show us who they really are, and we should believe them.

Editor’s Note: Democrats are fanning the flames and raising the rhetoric by comparing ICE to the Gestapo, fascists, and secret police.
