Kano mourns as Kingmaker Abba Sanusi is laid to relaxation

The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and the sixteenth Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, have been among the many quite a few Nigerians who participated within the burial rites of the late Kano’s kingmaker, Abba Sanusi.

The fifteenth Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, was, nevertheless, absent on the prayer session.

Abba Sanusi, the oldest member of Kano’s Kingmakers, died within the early hours of Wednesday in what’s believed to be an previous age-related sickness.

The eldest son of the late kingmaker, Abbas Sanusi, who’s the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, attended the funeral alongside his government members.

The late Abbas Sanusi was a distinguished determine within the Emirate, having served as Wamban Kano and a senior councillor underneath the late Emir, Ado Bayero.

He served underneath Ado Bayero, who reigned from 1963 to 2014.

He’s survived by his wives and 35 kids, together with Abdullahi Abbas, Chairman of the APC in Kano State.

Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, Nasiru Aliko Koki (representing APC Nationwide Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje), and a bunch of different personalities witnessed the burial of Abbas Sanusi on the Gandun Albasa graveyard in Kano.
