Timothy Weah’s agent has accused one of Juventus’ directors of “creating problems” ahead of the player’s desired move to Marseille.

Weah has reportedly agreed personal terms with Marseille, who are coached by Roberto De Zerbi, but Juventus are yet to accept an offer from the French club.

The United States international joined Juventus in 2023 from Lille and has scored seven times in 78 appearances. He helped the Bianconeri win the Coppa Italia title in 2024, directly contributing to two goals in five matches in that campaign.

Juventus tried to sell the winger to Nottingham Forest during their Club World Cup campaign, but Weah refused to join the Premier League club.

The 25-year-old only played once in the revamped competition as Juventus were knocked out in the last 16 by Real Madrid.

Badou Sambague, Weah’s agent, insists the USMNT forward will not compromise and move to the Premier League instead of Marseille.

“Juventus are a fantastic club, the sporting department is managed by three people who have class. We won’t hold it against them, but two are looking for solutions and one is creating problems, and we cannot let that go,” Weah’s agent told RMC Sport.

“Tim Weah is always professional, but he was sidelined during the Club World Cup. This person botched the World Cup by trying to force him to go where he wanted.

“Today, out of spite, he is demanding a fortune and is waiting for a Premier League offer that will never come, and we’ll never approve.

“These old-fashioned methods won’t work with me. I’m not accustomed to speaking out, but staying silent today would mean accepting the unacceptable and a total lack of respect.

“Class can’t be bought, at least not for an executive, but it’s always been part of Juventus. One person is undermining, so let’s see.”
