Alax Evalsam, the viral fish pie seller, has opened up about his heartbreaking experience before signing a contract deal.

‎The viral internet sensation shared details of the heartbreaking ordeal during a recent appearance on the Clarity Zone podcast.

‎Viral Fish Seller Cries Out

‎During the interview, the viral fish seller disclosed that he was severely beaten and tied from head to toe.

‎”One guy went out, bought pepper and soaked it. They now tied me,lifted me and poured it from my head to my toe“, He said.

‎However, he was taken to Eko Hotel where he was asked to pose for a photo signing a document.

‎As Alax Evalsam spoke, the hosts were moved and visibly disgusted over the incident.

‎Notably, Alax Evalsam gained popularity through his unique and catchy chant, ‘Nawa o, some people dem to do oh’.

‎The viral moment led to him being discovered by content creators, including Nons Miraj, who surprised Alax with a fully furnished apartment, food, cash, and new clothes.

In a thoughtful gesture, she rented the apartment for two years upfront and provided an initial ₦200k in support, with a promise of a monthly allowance.

‎Additionally, he signed a deal with Eko Hotel, showcasing his singing talent and becoming an ambassador for the hotel.
