President Bola Tinubu has authorised the appointment of seven individuals to the Board of the Securities and Alternate Fee.
The Presidency introduced the appointment on Friday in a press release signed by Tinubu’s Particular Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, titled ‘President Tinubu appoints board of Securities and Alternate Fee.’
They embody Mr Mairiga Katuka (Chairman of the Board), Mr Emomotimi Agama as Director-Common, Frana Chukwuogor as Govt Commissioner (Authorized and Enforcement) and Mr Bola Ajomale as Govt Commissioner (Operations).
Others are Mrs. Samiya Usman as Govt Commissioner (Company Companies), Mr. Lekan Belo and Mr. Kasimu Kurfi as Non-Govt Commissioners.
Ngelale mentioned the President anticipates that each one members of the Board will “deliver to bear their wealth of expertise and competence in advancing the fee’s core mandate of creating and regulating a capital market that’s dynamic, honest, clear, and environment friendly, to bolster investor confidence and contribute immeasurably to the nation’s financial improvement.”
