Vice-President Kashim Shettima and the First Woman, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, attended the valedictory session of ninth Senate held on the Nationwide Meeting Complicated in Abuja on Saturday.

Shettima is the outgoing senator for Borno Central, whereas President Bola Tinubu’s spouse represents Lagos Central till the inauguration of the tenth Senate on Tuesday.

The Senate President Ahmad Lawan suspended Order 12 to permit guests to come back into the chamber for the ceremony.

The Clerk introduced the certificates of legislative service to Lawan, adopted by Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege.
