JUST-IN: INEC Postpones Governorship, State Meeting Elections To March 18









Barring any additional extensions, the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has reached a choice to postpone Saturday’s governorship and State Home of Meeting elections to March 18, 2023,

the postponement was as a result of fee’s incapacity to promptly start reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines utilized through the February 25 presidential election to allow their use within the state elections.

Recall that the electoral umpire was earlier restrained from tampering with the data embedded within the BVAS machines till due inspection was performed and Licensed True Copies (CTC) issued to candidates who’re difficult the end result of the presidential election.
