Passengers on a flight from Melbourne, Australia to Bali had been left fuming this week after their already delayed takeoff was additional pushed again by a person who lit a cigarette after boarding.
The person featured in footage shared to TikTok that confirmed him being escorted off Jetstar flight JQ1035 by police on Tuesday.
“This man thinks a delayed flight means he can mild a dart on the airplane. No Bali vacay for you now,” the girl who filmed him wrote in her publish.
She boarded at 3 pm in Melbourne, Australia and the flight nonetheless hadn’t left the tarmac by 7 pm, she added.
The flight lastly arrived at Denpasar airport at 12:51 am on Wednesday after stopping in Darwin late on Tuesday night for gasoline.
A Jetstar spokesperson confirmed the person behind the prolonged delay “lit a cigarette on board the plane previous to departure”.
“Smoking, vaping or using digital cigarettes shouldn’t be permitted on any Jetstar plane, in Australian airport terminals or on the tarmac,” a spokesperson advised information.com.au.
