A Japan Airways aircraft was in flames on the runway of Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Tuesday after apparently colliding with a coast guard plane, tv studies stated.
The pictures on broadcaster NHK confirmed the aircraft shifting alongside the runway earlier than an explosion of orange flames burst from beneath and behind it.
All 367 passengers on board the Airbus aircraft have been evacuated, broadcaster NHK reported.
The reason for the incident was not instantly clear, however tv studies stated that the Airbus collided with a Coast Guard plane.
