‘It’s necessary to maneuver your ears away from the group’ – Manqoba Mngqithi hits again

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has responded to criticism following his membership’s current hunch.

Masandawana had been eradicated from the two-legged MTN8 semifinals this previous weekend after taking place 2-0 on mixture to Stellenbosch FC. Mngqithi, who took over as head coach from Rulani Mokwena, has misplaced back-to-back matches for Sundowns.

Talking forward of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership, the previous Golden Arrows mentioned he was unaware of what was mentioned about him on social media.

“I don’t even have social media, so I can’t reply on one thing that I don’t even see,” Manqoba Mngqithi informed the media.

“One factor I do know is that if you end up the chief of a pack, it’s at all times necessary to attempt to transfer your ears away from the group and concentrate on what you’re doing as a result of as it’s, I don’t assume there’s any purpose for anybody to consider that I can’t coach Sundowns.

Manqoba Mngqithi not apprehensive about his future

“I consider anybody who seems like perhaps is likely to be malicious, perhaps is likely to be having points, or perhaps is likely to be despatched by others to say issues that swimsuit these explicit people,” Mngqithi added as per iDiski Instances.

“However for somebody to assume I’m incapable of teaching Sundowns, will probably be very unusual for me,” he concluded.

Manqoba Mngqithi joined Downs in 2014 as Pitso Mosimane’s assistant. Beneath Jingles, the KZN-born coach gained the CAF Champions League and a number of other league titles.

In 2020, he alongside Steve Komphela and Mokwena had been elevated to co-coaches after Mosimane’s departure. The membership determined to put Manqoba Mngqithi as senior coach, whereas Rulani was given the total title of head coach.
