Morgan Rogers has put pen to paper on a new six-year deal with Aston Villa, keeping him at the club until 2031.
Rogers has agreed to fresh terms with Unai Emery’s side, having arrived at Villa Park for a reported £15m fee from Championship side Middlesbrough in February last year.
The 23-year-old has become an integral part of Villa’s squad since his arrival, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists in 86 appearances across all competitions.
Indeed, 27 of his 35 goal involvements came during a stellar campaign in 2024-25, a total only bettered by Ollie Watkins (31) among Emery’s squad.
The England international was also voted the PFA Young Player of the Season for his impressive performances.

Rogers had endured a difficult start to this season, however, but ended his 20-match goal drought during the Villans’ 2-1 win away to Tottenham last month.
Aged 23 years and 85 days, he became the sixth-youngest player to record 25 Premier League goal involvements for Aston Villa (12 goals, 13 assists), and youngest since Christian Benteke in August 2013 (22y 257d).
And Rogers said his decision to stay at Villa was an easy one.
“I’m so happy,” Rogers said. “The faith from the people at the club is a really nice feeling, and I couldn’t wait to sign. I’m really happy.
“It’s home. Being from the area makes it that bit sweeter, but the manager, the players, the staff, everyone here is so warm and welcoming every day.
“I’m excited to come in and train, work hard and give my all every day. I really enjoy it.
“The most important thing for me is enjoying my football and being able to express myself. There’s no reason why I wouldn’t want to stay here.”
Rogers becomes the latest Villa player to commit his future to the club following Matty Cash and captain John McGinn signing new contracts in the past two weeks.
