“It was an honor and a pleasure to face you” – Jurgen Klopp congratulates Pep Guardiola on 1000 career matches (Video)

As it happens, Pep Guardiola will be in a managerial dugout for the 1000th time in his career when Manchester City welcome Liverpool to the Etihad on Sunday.

Guardiola has frequently named former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp as his greatest rival – the two had fought fierce battle in Germany too, as Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund continuously challenged Bayern Munich in every competition.

Klopp obviously feels the same way about Guardiola, and there is great respect between them.
