Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman can still exit the Bergamo Stadium before the transfer window slams shut on September 1, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old has made it clear he no longer wants to play for La Dea, but the club have declined the attacker’s wish to leave in the same vein.
Inter Milan submitted three offers for the 2024 CAF Player of the Year, but Ivan Juric’s side are maintaining their stance about not letting Lookman join another Italian club.

Lookman has been left out to train alone, but all hope is not lost, and the former RB Leipzig man can still get a move this summer.
As per Caught Offside, Lookman’s situation in Bergamo has sparked interest from the English Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal recently signed Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, and are still monitoring Lookman’s situation.
On the other hand, Chelsea are keeping the Super Eagles star as an option if they fail to secure a move for either Alejandro Garnacho or Leipzig midfielder, Xavi Simons.

Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the Nigerian forward as their left flank options are literally non-existent.
Aston Villa might consider a loan move due to their financial problems. While Roma also have Lookman on their radar, Atalanta will not sell to another Italian club, and a pursuit is unlikely as well, given the forward’s history with Gian Piero Gasperini.
Atletico Madrid and Napoli have both made contact, but neither club has yet met Atalanta’s demands.

While the former Fulham man has a plethora of clubs on his radar, he has to make a decision quickly, or else he risks staying another year in Bergamo.
