Seun, it feels like the same question is being asked repeatedly in different ways. It would be more insightful to also address issues such as the Bala agitation and the process through which David emerged as chairman.

Bolaji, there is a need for constructive engagement with all aggrieved parties to seek an out of court resolution. Dialogue remains a critical pillar in resolving such matters.

Democracy thrives on compromise and the ability to adapt to changing dynamics. I encourage ADC to place greater emphasis on communicating clear alternative policies that differentiate them from the current government. Tell us you are not another ‘Emi lo kan’ just want to grab power by all means for the sake of being in power.

Hon. Leke Abejide has won elections twice to the Federal House of Representatives under the ADC. So, Sir ADC has existed and not a mushroom party. Hand over the party to the owner. That will not stop you and others from becoming members for the sake of people who want to use the platform to contest elections.

The ADC opposition is posturing like they are a collection of highly principle, disciplined men of integrity, the evidence says otherwise.
They posture like they’ve never been in leadership roles, the evidence says otherwise. The evidence points to them being lackluster, mediocre to terrible administrators and leaders.
What they have going for them is that in a democracy a people can choose to vote to jump from bad to worse. Democracy is about choices. So if majority of the voters decide to vote for tested, tried and failed leaders that is fine.
The ones I pity are the extremely young, impressionable or older but gullible Nigerians on twitter and youtube comments who actually believe in the Messianic posturing by the ADC. Those are the ones I pity because they don’t have neither the range or discipline to research nor the humility to accept that they don’t know half the things they comment on. Bandwagon behavior is too pervasive in the national discourse. Take electricity for instance, if you ask the average Nigerian what is plaguing that sector they have no clue, they think it is as simple as turning on a switch and everyone gets electricity. Obviously the APC isn’t doing the best but the alternative is worse. Those other guys did not do even an average job when they were leaders/administrators of less complex organizations or states. The problems of Nigeria are multifaceted and too deeply entrenched to hand over to people who failed and failed woefully in past duties. The problems are too entrenched to expect that they’d be solved in 8-10 years. From institutional problems, civil service incompetence, out of school children and what they portend for security, productivity and other metrics, to the problems of the people ourselves and inept leaders. Change will take time.

Thank you for asking the ADC man a serious question today.
I think they are actually the third column.
Sincerely, I don’t want to call them buffoons, but that is what they are if they understand the meaning of the word.
Their unseriousness is damaging Nigeria democracy and they kept blaming APC.
For the sake of Nigeria democracy they should get out of ADC and let the original members carry the mantle on.
They are just playing blaming game.
They don’t know what they are doing.
They are political illiterate.
Just annoyed for their selfish interest.
They could have done well if they have the interest of Nigeria.
I am so angry with these people.
They are destroying Nigeria.
