
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has resumed the collation of results for the Anambra governorship election, after more than one hour of break.
INEC officials, observers, journalists and others stakeholders gathered at the commission’s headquarters in Awka, Anambra State around 2:10 am on Sunday when the collation began.
However, after results from 19 councils were collated, the officials went on a break and resumed around 6 am.

The commencement of the collation exercise began hours after a largely peaceful conduct of the election in the South-Eastern state.
