Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo says the state would overcome her current challenges if residents fervently approached God in prayers.
The governor mentioned this on the second version of ‘Imo Unity Prayer and Reward Conference’ organised by the state chapter of the Christian Affiliation of Nigeria (CAN), in Owerri on Tuesday.
Mr Uzodimma mentioned the occasion was acceptable because the state had been in a position to surmount its safety challenges because of the faithfulness and charm of God.
He thanked CAN for organising the occasion and urged residents of Imo to proceed to wish and thank God, including that “he hears our prayers.”
“God has been there for us. In good occasions and in difficult occasions, he’s all the time there. There may be proof in all places to indicate that Almighty God is in Imo.
