‘ I’m Going To Parliament To Combat For My Constituents, Not The Artistic Arts Trade – A Plus

Ghanaian musician-turned-politician Kwame Asare Obeng, often known as A Plus, has shared his plans as he prepares to function the newly elected Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central. In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, A Plus made it clear that his focus is on serving the individuals who voted for him, not the artistic trade.

“I wish to make it clear that I’m not going to Parliament to battle for the leisure trade,” he said. “My sole accountability is to work diligently and ship outcomes for the individuals of Gomoa Central, who believed in me and voted massively to place me on this place.”

A Plus identified that his electoral victory was rooted within the belief of the individuals of Gomoa Central, not the backing of the artistic trade. He highlighted that no main artistic our bodies, such because the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) or the Movie Producers Affiliation of Ghana (FIPAG), supported him throughout his marketing campaign.

“Once I was contesting, there wasn’t any collective help from MUSIGA, FIPAG, or every other artistic group,” he defined. “It was only a handful of buddies within the trade who stood by me. That’s why I’m centered on the individuals of Gomoa Central, who put their confidence in me, not the artistic trade.”

“Gamers within the artistic trade really feel too necessary, despite the fact that there are severe challenges they should handle,” he added.

Regardless of his criticism, A Plus praised Shatta Wale for talking up concerning the issues within the trade. “Shatta Wale has been making a number of sense. They need to hearken to him as a result of his concepts may assist them,” he stated.
