Ghanaian actress Portia Asare has lastly confirmed the rumors about her divorce, three years after tying the knot for the second time in 2021. This comes after social media was buzzing in 2023 with reviews that her marriage to Raymond Kwaku Marfo had hit the rocks, with accusations flying round that Marfo was a serial womanizer. She was first married to Pastor John Wilberforce in 2013.

In a candid interview with Ahodwo TV in August 2024, Portia opened up concerning the divorce however made it clear that she’s not letting it break her spirit. “I’m not a quitter,” she stated. “Nothing defeats me besides going in opposition to the desire of God. I’m not going to surrender simply because I’ve been divorced twice. I’m not at a drawback. The Lord says He’ll order my steps; He’s the one who tells me the place to go.”

Portia Asare  is decided to not let this setback outline her. “I’m not prepared now, but when marriage comes 10,000 occasions, I’ll marry 10,000 occasions. I’ve a protracted approach to go.”
