“I want I by no means would have gone there. The implications have been devastating on my life”: Iced Earth’s Jon Schaffer shares assertion following sentencing for US Capitol riot involvement

Iced Earth electrical guitar participant Jon Schaffer has issued his first public assertion since being sentenced for his involvement within the 2021 US Capitol riot.

In early January, Schaffer was photographed storming the US Capitol constructing with a mob of Donald Trump supporters in the course of the high-profile riot in Washington DC. A couple of days later, it was confirmed the Iced Earth co-founder had been arrested after he turned himself in to authorities, and confronted six prices associated to his involvement within the incident.
