Chinedum Ucheoma has been named one of the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons 2025, at the recently concluded 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit held from July 4 to 6 at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, Rwanda.

The recognition celebrates Ucheoma’s contribution to technology-led innovation, digital transformation, and peacebuilding across Africa and the Middle East.

A cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence strategist, Ucheoma joins a distinguished list of honorees that includes African football legend Mo Salah, Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, global music icon Burna Boy, investor Femi Otedola, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, among others.

Chinedum Ucheoma’s professional career spans over 15 years across enterprise technology, business advisory, and market expansion in emerging economies.

He currently serves as a Cloud and AI Advisor at a leading American multinational computer technology company, where he supports organisations in Africa and the Middle East to harness digital tools for enhanced productivity and growth.

Speaking during the award presentation, Ucheoma expressed gratitude for the honour and emphasised the importance of youth involvement in the continent’s tech ecosystem.

“This recognition inspires me to keep building inclusive, technology-driven ecosystems that empower SMEs, corporates, and public sector institutions.

“Africa has a wealth of talent, and with the right investment and leadership, we can create real value and sustainable impact”, he said.

Ucheoma is currently establishing a Venture Capital Investment Company focused on nurturing smart, lean businesses that address the needs of mass-market and niche consumers in underserved regions.
